Hello! We are an amateur radio club located on the campus of the television sports network ESPN, Inc., in Bristol, Connecticut USA. The club membership includes employees and retirees of ESPN. We currently have about 40 members.

We were first granted our club license on February 1, 2012 as KB1WPE. Our stations (two of them) were not yet constructed when we immediately applied for our vanity call, WE1SPN. As we were building our first facility, our vanity call was granted on February 24, 2012.

Our equipment includes two identical shacks, each with:

• Icom 7600
• Icom 2820
• Tarheel vertical with ground plane kit for HF
• Comet vertical for VHF/UHF

We will be active on 80m – 70cm.
